The Coolest of All - Plaid Golf Pants


Let's face it, there's nothing more eye catching than a great pair of plaid golf pants on a golfer . The statement put forth by these types of pants is nothing short of astonishing. The funny and unique thing about this line of clothing is that it's mainly seen on the golf course.

Who wears plaid golf pants in today's world? Anybody who wants too. The thing about this type of clothing is that it makes such a statement (who knows what it is) that not every one can handle or even likes the attention that goes with it. It takes a real confident person to pull off wearing these pants. Golfers and golf courses are like a small community amongst the rest of the world. That's why you can wear just about anything color wise on the golf course.

Women tend to wear more plaid outfits than men do so it's a little more common place to see it in skirts and shorts and even some tops on women. It's when the men wear it that it really stands out. The full plaid golf pants can usually be noticed from quite a distance away because of their unique look. This look goes back as far as the 1950's when plaid was introduced into the mainstream.

Golfers have been wearing this great look since the 1950's but, it really came into the mainstream to be noticed when stylish players such as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Gary Player started wearing them on a regular basis. They then kind of faded away in the 1990's, but have made a huge comeback on today's scene.

A lot of the younger players are wearing plaid golf pants in all styles and designs. A lot of them are going for a real modern cut mixed with the retro look of the pants. Throw in some really bright colored fitted shirts, belts, and shoes to go along with the golf pants and you've got the attire of many players of the early 2000's. The nice thing about it is that these guys look great when they wear them. Don't be shy and get yourself some of these great pants.
